PageSeeder server

Is a somewhat ambiguous term. It can be the conceptual term for the overall PageSeeder solution or it can refer to the main software component of the system (and counterpart to the publish engine).

As a software component, the PageSeeder server interfaces with a relational database (through JDBC) a Java application server (typically Tomcat) and other components through URLs, the Bridge or PageSeeder Ant API.
