PageSeeder file system
Directly interacting with the host file system is not advised! Use the API or user interface to move files in or out of PageSeeder.
It is important to understand that the PageSeeder file system is inherited from the operating system hosting the PageSeeder server. In the event that a user moves files from a noncase-sensitive desktop environment to a case-sensitive server environment, this can lead to confusion.
This is something that developers need to be aware of if their development environment is different to their production system.
