Document type

In PageSeeder, a document type can be compared to a ‘template’ in Word or FrameMaker. Document types are used to customize aspects of the content such as:

• Content structure, presentation and editing interface.
• Location and naming of documents.
• Constraints and validation of content.
• Any special import / export processing.
