Editing – batch

PageSeeder provides the infrastructure necessary to support batch or bulk editing. Effectively, this process can be thought of as re-uploading PSML files. Therefore, batch editing can support use cases such as:

• Exporting a collection of PageSeeder documents, process them with any appropriate technology (programming tools, text editor etc.) and upload the changed files back to the group they originated from.
• Data exported from an external system (for example, an enterprise database) can be processed into PSML and then uploaded. When an update of the external data is available, if the data is properly processed, the updates can appear as edits in the document history.
