# Manager

A particular [role](role.md) with permission to configure a PageSeeder [group](group.md).

Managers have the highest level of permission within a group. They can create and edit tasks, comments and documents as well as manage group members. Approvers and [moderators](moderator.md) have equivalent permissions to Managers.

Managers of a [project](project.md) can also configure the [template](project_template.md) for that project and create new groups under it.

To administer a PageSeeder server, a member must be an [administrator](administrator.md), as the scope of manager is limited to the group.
