# /members/\{member\}/uris/\{uri\}/fragments/\{+fragment\}/comments \[POST\]

## Description

Create a new [comment](../../reference/glossary/comment.md) (or [task](../../reference/glossary/task.md)) for [URI](../../reference/glossary/uri.md) fragment from [member](../../reference/glossary/member.md).

Create a [comment](../elements/element_comment.md) (or task) for [group](../../reference/glossary/group.md), reply, url or uri/fragment.

## Parameters

### Status

The  `@status` attribute must use a value that has been defined in the [group properties](../../guide/configuration/properties/group_properties.md). For example: “**Open**”, “**Resolved**”, “**Closed**”.

### Priority

The `@priority` attribute must use a value that has been defined in the group properties. For example: “**High**”, “**Medium**”, “**Low**”.

## Permission

The member on the request might need to be a reviewer or contributor or higher depending on the group configuration for all the groups in the groups parameter.

## Error Handling

| Code | Cause / Description |
| --- | --- |
| 0x1303 | Both URI and URL have been specified |
| 0x1304 | The URL is invalid |
| 0x1305 | The URL does not match a GroupURI |
| 0x1306 | The Group is invalid |
| 0x1307 | The assigned to member is invalid |
| 0x1308 | The due date is invalid |
| 0x6301 | If the group has no general discussion |
| 0x6302 | Failed to create new comment |
